I actually got them from a guy on Instagram, snotthejeep however, oracle lights makes a plug and play very nice and close to this if you aren’t able to locate a plate.

What blows my mind is why Jeep keeps undoing things like this? Even the leaking issue up front, or where the hard top sit to the frame, why didn’t they think “hey it might leak, I think we need to design it better.”
I agree. I assume for this one though the design flaw was actually the leather middle seat head rest. They made it so it interferes with the cup holder. So instead of making the headrest less of an angle they remove the cup holder. 🤦🏻♂️

Future tip pop it into 4hi and the collar will lock on the inner shaft and you can remove the passenger side just like the driver no need to touch fad at all!

How many ports could you use to tap into the 12v cigarette outlet? I have one outlet and if its safe id like to put maybe 3 or 4 ports in my vehicle.
I don’t think I understand what you’re looking to do other than add more “ports”

@@SilverSin well sir I am not an electrical engineer. But I will say this. Taping into the 12v for usb is probably not going to be an issue. If you’re trying to power something larger than a phone, I would say use the larger capacity auxiliary lines that are available instead of the cigarette line. Those will be located in the lower right of the passenger foot area side panel. There is one that is 12v and literally made for a straight connection and doesn’t require the use of an auxiliary button to make it live. Hope this helps.

Yes you can. Fuses just limit lines so if that line is gonna fry, the entire thing isn’t

If you use the wiring inside can use that color under the hood?
You only have 4 switches available so if you use a line under the hood and in the car it’s all tied to that and will run both. 2 lines are built for low draw and the others high draw like winches and lights. So technically you could use a high draw for multiple things you just have to be okay with everything you put on it having power.
Dumb question but which pin waterproof connector do I need? Amazon shows 1, 2, 3, and 4 pin.

Good tutorial. Thanks. Only thing- the lack of what ever dropped out when axle was pulled, do you put that piece in during the axle entry or after the axle is mounted on the knuckle? Then insert the piece for the fork? You mentioned something about not being aligned on disassembly, something needs to be aligned on axle entry? The fork unit need new seal or gasket? This ball joints priced at $600, is it worth the price compared to Synergy hd joints? $300. Anti seize would be us3d because of dissimilar metal contact?
What dropped was the engagement ring. It’s easy to put back in. When you do it you will see how it fits. Yes you will see how it aligns when you open it up, it’s super simple. No new seals or gaskets needed, at least not on these new ones yet, can’t imagine you would need anything new. Do not buy the synergy they will fail in a couple months. Anti seize isn’t necessary you won’t ever be taking the housing out again. When you replace the internals, you take the tops off you don’t have to press them in or out again. Another option for you could also be the ball joint delete. There are some issues with noise over time but that’s up to you.

Outstanding job on making this vid. Details and step by step are much appreciated. I’ll be doing this when my parts arrive this weekend, but I went with the mevotech TTX ball joints for my diesel JL. Factory Dana ball joints are total crap. I stripped out the thread on one overtightening to stop the clicking on turns. And can’t thank you enough for listing the tool list. Just ordered that weighted hammer 💪🏽.

Sorry you feel that way. Been a longtime since I’ve looked at this however I’m pretty sure the main concern in this is wiring the camera and the lighting electrical. The pack has instructions and is very straight forward.

Unfortunately I’m away for the next two weeks. But I did want to help you out. I did see the stock reflector dimensions are 3x3x1. Obviously it’s not a square but should give you an idea of the space your working with. Sorry I could not be of more assistance.

I ordered a set. they are 2.77 x 2.38... or about 2-3/4 x 2-3/8 and 1/2" deep.
So you basically installed a United Airlines seat adjustment lol.
Basically
If you remove the aux battery then connect the positive from the aux battery to the positive of the main battery then tie the aux ground out of the way you wont need the aux battery anymore. I removed my aux battery 4 years ago.
Does your auto start stop still work? If so, how’s your main battery held up?
Yes the stop start still works because the aux battery is connected to the main. I dont have any issues with the stop start draining my main battery because I disabled the stop start as soon as I bought my Jeep. Ive never used it and will never use it. I run a winch and offroad lights and havent had any issues with draining the main battery. I did this 4 years ago and I have 120k miles on my Jeep with no issues.@@ExfilOffRoad

Yea pretty much 😂 sorry to disappoint. The directions break down the wiring and the point was to show you can wire a outlet to the bed if you did not get the factory option.

So, unlike a shock, when these are 'locked' the piston is depressed all of their set travel. And when unlocked, if you are wheeling and compressing, say, the driver side the piston is still closed and the sway bar still moves BUT the passenger side 'opens' instead of being pulled with the sway bar. Do I understand this correctly?

Thanks for the comment. I agree with you, and I also believe the instructions for wiring in the outlet package show exactly what to do. This was not a video on the basics of how to wire electronics, and I may do one of those now that you bring this up. Usually people do not attempt to do their own wiring without any previous experience, it is something I did not consider when making this video.
